All is calm, all is bright

We finally have power back and it feels so nice to be home and have it feel like home. There were some nice things about the power outage routine. We had a great time with the Miskinis', sharing meals and conversation, internet, and bath time.

It was fun to watch Maria and Hayden play with each other, they seemed so much more grown up during this week. They entertained each other so much that I felt almost left out of the playing. They would even go down to Hayden's room to hang out, read books and pull all the toys out of the closet.
Sure there were a few arguements over the same toy but for the most part they were very peaceful. Except when Maria surprise hugged Hayden toppling her over backwards causing her to hit her head on the furniture and then falling on top of her as well. Oh and Maria said her first sentence. She put her hands in front of her face took them away and said "I see you!" to Hayden.
After our first snow fall Heidi took the girls out sledding.

I Love the way Maria is holding the book in her lap with her curled up feet!
