Yesterday I went to a cooking class at Stonewall Kitchens in York, ME with my friend Carole. The class was Nutritious Family Cooking and the title about sums it up. It was a demonstration class, we didn't cook, but we got to sample everything and she made some things that were so simple it was hard to believe they would taste as good as they did. It was a really fun, out of the ordinary, activity and the location is so beautiful, right next to a store full of free samples, I highly recommend it. They have lots of different themed classes. Afterwards I stopped in Kittery and the outlets with the intent of going to just Gymboree but I ended up at a couple more and bought Maria clothes she didn't really need but which were good buys. Like this $4 dress that I thought would be just for dress up but when she put it on it sort of grew on me-I got Hayden a matching one.
The Miskinis' came over in the afternoon for the typical high energy, exhaust the toddlers play time and dinner. Hayden and Maria are feeding their babies.

And then they were using stickers and ended up decorating themselves.

We all fell into bed like logs. Until 1:00 am. When Maria called our names from her room. Because she was throwing up. Poor pathetic, little girl covered in vomit standing at the side of her crib. She was happy after she got sick but it wasn't that simple. She got sick a couple more times but by 5:30 she had taken a couple of sips of liquid and a bath was the turning point. I guess everyone feels better once the puke is washed out of their hair. After she kept down some milk which we didn't think we should give her but which she was signing for like crazy we all went to bed for three glorious hours. Thankfully, it seems like it was a short lived tummy ache.
