Lazy Sunday

Today we spent a lazy Sunday morning making omlettes and bacon and toast for breakfast after Maria "slept in" until 6:45. I was actually the first one out of bed and put apple/blueberry sauce on to simmer and wrote in my journal before she got up. We did feel like we needed to get out of the house a little more today and since the bright sun fooled us into thinking it was warmer than it was we went to feed the horses at UNH. We did a speedy round of carrot tossing at the barns because the wind was blowing cold even though we were in the building. Afterwards we went to Breaking New Grounds for juice, tea, coffee, chocolate filled pastry and cookies and then to The Bagelry where I left my purse. Paul's on his way to retrieve it now. It's vacation week and Maria and I are looking forward to meeting friends at the newly reopened indoor play gym and seeing Babcia and Dzadek. We started redoing our spare bedroom downstairs by tearing down the wood paneling and our plan is to have it completely done before baby #2 so that when people come to visit and help out there's a nice space for them to stay. Last week we had a "snow" day. It didn't start snowing until two in the afternoon and Maria was at such a loss for something to do she decided to clean the bathtub.
