Winter's crazy chaos

January has brought one major snow storm after another. Thankfully it's been sledding snow, squeaky, powdery and light, and not heavy, wet snowman snow. I think that has saved us from power outages (knock wood). So far the storms have come mid week so there have been many snow days and then on the sunny weekends we get to enjoy the snow by sledding. This past weekend I put snowshoes on and traipsed around the yard with Stella in the Bjorn making paths to the compost and the bird feeder and then packed down a sledding run which Paul and the girls made a few passes on. Pizza that night came out looking like the State of Maine!
