February vacation 2012

During the early part of February vacation the girls and I went to Jefferson and left Paul behind to work and to work on our upstairs bathroom. There were lots of things to keep us busy there and we were finally able to shake the bad colds that we all had.

Stella and Aba have become good friends.

Maria and I went out to lunch just the two of us at Moody's Diner. The kids meal comes with a small whoopie pie which doesn't look so small in this picture.

We went to Michael's to get materials for art projects.

On Wednesday before we left Marley and Pat arrived to quilt with Babcia. We helped to think of objects to go with each letter of the alphabet for a quilt Babcia is making.

Since we got home on Wednesday working on the bathroom has been a priority. So far the floor is done, there's a new toilet and now the walls have been painted. Tomorrow we're going to finish up the trim and hopefully sometime next week the sink will be installed!
