Late May 2014

At the end of May we finalized and planted our new raised bed, before Paul left to work in CT.  One end already had two rows of lettuce, a row of radishes and a row of carrots planted by Babcia, Maria and Estella.  Then there are three rows of tomatoes, a total of 9 plants, with marigolds in between, four sweet potato plants, an onion, oregano, lavender and rosemary.   Radishes grow fast!

An onion from the pantry went into the garden.

A week and a half after planting the rest of the garden the radishes, which had been planted dance recital weekend, were already ready.  None of us like radishes so they're going to our neighbor.  Stella has binoculars because she was looking at the baby blue bird perched on the yellow bird house with its parents.
