Whale watch on the Granite State

Many years ago, right after college, I worked on a whale watching boat for the summer called The Granite State out of Rye.  One of the crew members that I worked with now owns and operates the boat and we went on a whale watch today with Susanne, the Miskinis' and three quarters of the Pims.  Hardly anything has changed about the boat or Rye Harbor for that matter.  We had a perfect day, warm and sunny, no wind, flat calm ocean and miles of visibility.

Haskel and an ocean sunfish - so close to the boat!

Minke whale.

Marjorie always has a knitting project.

Stella sleeps wherever we go.

Atlantic white sided dolphins.

Harbor seal.

Close up ocean sunfish.
