Officially spring

Since my last post in January when I commented that we had had no snow to today, when we're still waiting for the 110 inches of snow we got to melt.  February and March were snowy, bitterly cold, and full of fevers and colds for the whole family.  We are finally getting temperatures above freezing although tonight, for example, it's supposed to be ten degrees overnight.  Another sure sign of spring, the first groundhog sighting of the year this afternoon.
We made our way to the Easter Bunny Breakfast at EES recently for a full schedule of pancake breakfast, face painting, crafts, egg hunt and family portrait with the Easter Bunny.

Stella has recently gotten into experiments and so we did a simple one that mimics a rain cloud.  Papa's shaving cream was the rain cloud and drops of colored water were the rain.  We counted how many drops the rain cloud would hold before it began to "rain" into the water below.
