Maria's 8th birthday

This year's birthday theme was "Spanish".  We made huge tissue paper flowers and hung paper lanterns.  Paul made a beautiful cake that looked like a Spanish dancer.  We weren't sure of the weather so we had some garage activities planned.  As guests arrived we painted tiles inspired by Spanish tile designs.

From there we transitioned to pin the tail on the donkey and then went upstairs for a pizza lunch and cake.

Hayden and Maria opened presents and then back downstairs to burst a pinata before people headed out!
