Good-bye hospital, hello home!

Well we have made the transition from the womb of the hospital to our house and survived the first night. Nothing exciting has happened, which is great, it's just been eating, pooping (it's finally yellow for those of you who get excited about that stuff) and sleeping. Breastfeeding is more challenging since my milk has come in and Maria has developed the voice of a screeching monkey. We are still waiting for her weight to turn the corner and for her slight jaundice to go away but at our lactation appointment today the consultant was very optimistic.

So glad all is well! I have been thinking of you three all day today. You and Maria will get into the breastfeeding groove in no time...just takes a little practice! You can do it :)

Hope the kitties are behaving themselves.

It is 4:30 am and poop is just what Louisa and I were dealing with, that and a good cold! Hang in there it will get easier...trust me!
