Precious sleep

We came home from the hospital for the second time on Friday evening. Her bilirubin levels had fallen enough and they actually continued to fall overnight even though she was not on the light treatment. The pediatrician thinks that we have that under control so now all we have to focus on is fattening her up. Here are a couple of pictures of her nursery with the bright curtains that my Mom made for us. Although we use the changing table all the time she has yet to sleep here. During the day we have a Pack n Play in the living room for her and at night we have a co sleeper in our bedroom or...

...she gets to snuggle inbetween us in bed. Do you see the smug expression on her face? I didn't expect to let her sleep in our bed but when you're tired enough you compromise anything for precious sleep.

Louisa has spent a lot more time in our bed than I ever thought she would. Sometimes they need to be there...and you need sleep!
