On Monday we set out in search of shoes for Maria and settled on these adorable little Merril's which match three of my own pairs of shoes and which Louisa also got a pair of-we ran into Katie, Louisa and Louise at Red's.

Columbus Day weekend is the anniversary of our engagement (Merry me!). Every year we hike back up to that spot and this year Maria came in the backpack-last year Paul carried her in the Bjorn. It was picture perfect and packed with people. We had a snack at the top, Maria tried to make friends with strange children, (I think she was having daycare withdrawel), Paul and Maria made Zen gardens with sticks in the sand and on the way down we played peek-a-boo behind the trees.

What a great family shot!
Looks like a nice day!! It was so funny running into you! I hope Maria likes her new shoes, Louisa seems to be doing great in hers:) The question is...Are they staying on??
