Labor Day Weekend

Hurricane Earl fizzled out early leaving us to have a beautiful Labor Day weekend in Maine. We got to partake in many outdoor activities in the sunny, cool weather. Maria and I took a walk through the woods splashing in puddles along the way, we built a fairy house in the woods with Papa, made chalk drawings with Bella and Julia, took Estella for pram rides, Maria and Papa caught three fish in Damariscotta Lake with Kimmy, Rusty, Austen and Oliver, we went out to lunch at Fernald's in Damariscotta one day and at Trattoria Athena another day. We went to LL Bean to research new tents big enough for all of us and Maria posed with the giant boot. We celebrated Papa's birthday and-ate and cooked lots of good food!
