At the end of school vacation we didn't feel ready to move Estella into Maria's room. She was still nursing most nights and we thought cutting her off would be a great battle. Turns out she's done much better than expected. Last night she woke up and Paul went over the the crib and told her to "do more sleepies" and she went back to sleep. She loves her new, big bed and last night, when we kept her out until 8:30 and this afternoon, when we spent all day outside, she was delighted to be laid down with her blanket and Lamby.
Last weekend we went to Wason Pond to enjoy the playground and the sunshine. It's almost as if they're tailgating.
This morning Maria and Estella gave me their Mother's Day gifts, framed photos that they created at school. We had lunch in the park and then went to a greenhouse and chose some flowers. Despite the rain this evening we still BBQ-ed for dinner and we are all exhausted from so much fresh air.
