It's beginning to look a lot like - Halloween?

This year was the snowiest Halloween I remember. Saturday night a full blown Nor'Easter dumped several inches of heavy, wet snow on us knocking out our power for two days. Sunday morning after we dug out we headed to Susanne's house. She didn't have power either but with town water and a gas stove breakfast was hot. Maria and I hung out and built a couple of snowmen while Papa was driving Stella, who had an ear infection, around in the car.
We moved to Susanne's Dad's house for lunch and then to the Miskinis' for dinner. We headed home just to go to bed and the next morning, Halloween, school was cancelled on account of the power outages. Paul stayed home too, thank goodness, because Stella was a mess. We took them to the doctors and Stella had an ear infection. We barely got antibiotics and dinner figured out before it was time to go out trick-or-treating. Stella didn't make it into costume but Maria and I headed out with her friends.
Everyone thought that Rudolph was a perfect costume on account of the weather.
