Thanksgiving was not relaxing in the best way possible! Each day had its own theme to it. Thursday's theme of course was food!
| Our annual Turkey cookies! |
| Mindy and Maria are putting together Babcia's edible turkey decorations. |
| Here's a close up of the flock. |
| Stella displays the gory innards. |
| She's eating hummus. On Thanksgiving. |
| Look at those beautiful vegetables waiting to be roasted. Who needs turkey! |
| We almost forgot to make stuffing. |
| The inaugural deep fried turkey. There were some wind issues and miscalculations on cooking time, we're going to give it another try next year. |

Aba does not want to be left out.

Friday's theme was shopping, Mom, Tina and I went out are took advantage of the Black Friday deals while Dad, Paul and the girls set up the Christmas Tree at home. Saturday we all went up to Diane's house for Cookie Day. Fortunately we had good traveling weather the whole weekend.
A couple of nice displays in Mom and Dad's house. Maria had an assignment over Thanksgiving weekend to ask people she had Thanksgiving dinner to sign her Thankful Book. She then brought it to school on Monday and the kids shared.
For his birthday I made Dad the framed "family" sign made up of found letters from his property.
