Today we had our first snow storm, about a foot, maybe a little less, of powder. We were all ready to stay at home the whole day, the whole family, and cook and eat, watch TV, and play in the snow. We've also been working on some Christmas presents but I can't talk about those! First of all, let's backtrack a little. Back in October Paul went to a equipment exchange and outfitted Maria for ski club which starts after the holidays. She looks ready!
Stella is spending some time reading, so many books, so little time!
Maria had a ice skating event at The Rinks, her first time on ice in awhile.
Here is a picture taken at Maria's holiday concert with her friends Shea-Lynn, Xander and Justin.

| They're singing "Snowman Jump", a little blurry because we're pretty far away. |

Here we are at today! Packing down a sledding trail. Then the snowplow came...
and we made a fort in the snow bank.
