Preparing for Christmas

The whole month of December was full of Christmas preparations.  We brought plates of cookies to twelve of our neighbors this year and we made reindeer cookies to add to the cookies made on cookie day.  For Maria's Winter Concert bake sale we made reindeer cupcakes and we modified them into reindeer cookies for our neighbors.

For my Mom, Susanne, and our neighbors I decided to make holiday place mats for Christmas.  It was a little too much to undertake and in the end most of them were finished over Christmas break.  When we were choosing fabric for the place mats we found some very pretty fabric with horses in the snow and Christmas trees and we bought that for pillow cases.
