The weekend of Kaya's birthday turned out to be beautiful and warm. The Miskinis' opened the pool and all the kids, even Stella, took an inaugural plunge. The kids were super excited that soda was featured at this party and that there was gum on the cake.
Sunday of the same weekend turned out to be just as beautiful and we went strawberry picking at Apple Crest and then stayed there to have lunch in their new farm to table restaurant which was very good and a beautiful building.

We wrapped up our busy day with an appearance at a Girl Scout end of the year party and then Marjorie, Emmet and Haskel joining us for strawberry shortcake at dessert time.
