Spring fun

Maria has been working on a life sized model of an Adelie penguin for a school project.  Nice that it's warm enough to work in the basement because paper mache is not an inside project.  The framework of the penguin is old, plastic flowerpots ducktaped together with a spray bottle head and beak.  Maria had to bring her model to school along with a written report and give a presentation to her class about the Adelie.

Meanwhile, Stella is playing T-ball, we're all surprised.  One night at dinner Stella announced she wanted to play baseball and so we signed her up for T-ball.  She's luke warm about the whole experience, when she's there she's smiling big and willing to do it all but not really interested in practicing at home.  We are very proud of her for taking the initiative to try something new which has been out of character for her.

Over April vacation the girls and I went to the parkway in Exeter and their goal was to ride their bikes all the way from one end of the parkway to the other and back.  Then we ate ice cream and walked through town for a bit.

On the way home we couldn't resist stopping to say hello to a new Epping resident at Riley's Farm, Victor.
