This weekend is the third anniversary of our engagement so we took Maria up to the spot where we got engaged. It was a beautiful day for a hike. Up at the top of the mountain the breeze alternately brought warm and then cool wafts of air past us. The air smelled like very dry, warm pine needles. Maria enjoyed watching the sunlight through the tree leaves and most of the time was very peaceful.
