Maria had several firsts this, her first Christmas. First time in a Bumbo-on loan from the Nowlans. It's meeting with mixed reviews so far.
First taste of rice cereal which, near the end of eating, she was lunging for.
First Christmas stocking, which Babcia and Auntie Tina made for her.
Her first Christmas ornament from Auntie Diane. " 'How delightful,' said Pooh 'to be so brand new' "
She also found her thumb on Christmas night after her bath. She's been working on it for awhile, the other fingers always getting in the way. Now she can plug that thumb in like a pro. I don't necessarily want her to be a thumb sucker but I applaud her victory.
On the evening of the 26th we went to the McCabes to celebrate the holiday with neighborhood family.
