Memorial Day weekend

Just a few hours ago we got back from the Fortier's lake house up north. What a beautiful weekend to be by the water! Last night, when Paul came to bed late, I woke up and we listened to the loons call back and forth. The head of our bed was pushed against the windows on the second floor which were wide open to let in the cool air and all the sounds of night time came in. This morning Paul went mountain biking with Troy, Tom and Jeff and after they cleaned up we had lunch. Griffin was admiring the adult food

Maria made friends with Major at lunch which was taking a lot out of her.

Maria got to put her toes in the lake and cover herself in sand for the first time.
