The artist needs her space

On Saturday we were trying to find a comfortable way for Maria to sit at the coffee table to draw. We're considering buying an IKEA child size table and chairs and using it in the living room instead of a coffee table so she has a space to sit and we don't have another piece of furniture floating around the house.

Her expression in this picture reminds me a lot of my Mom and my sister Diane for some reason-the tilt of the head I think.

When it was time for nap she wanted to drink her milk in the middle of the kitchen floor and no where else.
