"El Torre"

Last Easter weekend, partly because I told him he couldn't do it and partly to avoid spending $200, Paul built Maria this wooden structure that allows her to stand up to the counter.  It's called something like The Learning Tower and since Paul built it we call it El Torre.  This morning Maria watched as I pureed apple sauce and then she "helped" scoop it into ice cube trays to freeze.  Then the cat went under it so Maria went under too with Lamby and got "stuck".  Of course this morning when she got up, with every possible mobile item from her crib stuffed into her arms, she saw it for the first time and immediately had to try it out.  Thanks Nowlans for the help with the plans!

The tower at Northern Acres is well used (as you can attest too). It is one of the best pieces of kid equipment that has come into this grandparents' home. Sometimes there are three kids in it!! Maria will love it-and it looks like he kitties think it is pretty neat too!
