Kaya's birthday

What a beautiful day to be born!  The Miskinis' number showed up on caller ID at 7:30 this morning-a sure sign that something was up.  Paul and Maria and I went over to be with Hayden while Elaine and Brian went to the hospital.  Hayden came to swim class in Exeter with us and then we made grilled cheese and hung out until Hayden's Nana arrived.  Kaya was born somewhere around 12:30 and Elaine says that everything went great although I haven't heard all the details yet.  Can't wait to see Kaya and to see Hayden and Maria with her!  After nap this afternoon we went out on the lawn to splash in the pool and Maria used the pool water to water some of the newly planted flowers in the raised bed-after she yanked them out roots and all.
