Sandbox and shower

The weather this week has not been as horribly oppressive as the weather people would have us believe. Of course we're lucky to have friends with pools and during the hottest part of the day, after nap, we've escaped to go swimming and then dine on screened in porches and houses with central air. I was dreading heat and humidity but I see the advantage sunny days have over rain-lots of time for exhausting outdoor playing. Today after another round of blueberry picking Maria and I played in her wading pool and the sandbox for awhile.

After the blueberries, suntan lotion, swimming at Ryan's and playing running around with three other toddlers Maria decided to join Papa in the shower.
