Easter 2010

With record breaking temperatures this was for sure the most beautiful Easter weekend I remember. The fun of gorgeous weather in early April was somewhat tempered by the fact that Maria and Paul were and are pretty sick, Paul with a sore throat and cold and Maria with crazy congestion. Still, despite coughing and nose blowing and sleeping sitting up on the couch so Maria could breathe we did enjoy family and friends and sun. We went to the Bath Winter Farmer's Market on Saturday to see and support Ancora Pasta. If you haven't visited their blog click on it over to the right. We bought the most delicious wild mushroom/goat cheese ravioli from Carrie and Tim. We picked up some pasta for Gwendolyn and on the way home from the market stopped to deliver and to pick up my new "blueberry" earrings which Gwendolyn herself made, such talented friends. Saturday afternoon Maria and Oliver colored Easter eggs together. Hey, do you see the Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis on her shirt?
Here Maria is with her Easter basket that included a Mr. Potato Head Easter bunny, a stuffie bunny, Easter sticker book, necklaces and rings and a chocolate bunny.
And here I am at SIX months on Easter weekend. This little girl never stops moving and during church on Sunday Maria, sitting on my lap, felt her move as well as my sister Tina. Still no decisions on names, some previously discarded names have found their way back into consideration. I'm back to Estela Rosario personally, but that's this week.
