A short week in Jefferson

Maria, Stella and I left Paul at home for an extended weekend of packing and organizing the house and went to Jefferson.  There was no event that prompted our visit, we went simply to hang out and we were pretty lazy.  We spent a lot of time on the back deck playing kitchen with a kid's Tupperware party set I had as a child, making salt dough food to go with it, keeping Aba away from the pretend salt dough food, splashing in the wading pool, and doing various arts and crafts projects.  We also visited the lake a few times and spent some time in the gardens.  We cooked up the first zucchini of the season with some pesto homemade from the basil in the greenhouse and made several flower arrangements.
