We have settled into the schedule of the school year.  This means not only school but dance class too.  Stella started taking dance class a couple of weeks ago.  She's a little hesitant about it, I think she wants to do it but she's a little nervous about the class setting.  Once she's dancing she clearly is having a good time and she listens and watches the teachers intently while their showing the kids different movements.  Here are a few pictures from the first week of dance class.  Maria's class now uses the bar during ballet which makes them look so grown up.

Riding lessons didn't start up again, we were riding during the summer, but now the weather is cool enough for Maria and Estella to wear their matching riding outfits that Yaya and Grandpa bought them in Spain this summer.  After riding we like to run around the central pasture area and pretend we're riding horses over the jumps.

Riding bikes and chalk drawings has been a popular activity this month.  The other day we combined them with practicing sight words.  Maria rode her bike along the road, reading the words along the way.
