Chispa is very sweet to Maria. In the morning she follows me into Maria's room, stands on her hind legs and pokes her paws between the crib slats to Maria. She walks along the edge of the changing table at diaper time and if we're on the floor playing Chispa will butt her head against Maria and rub her cheek across Maria's toes. You would think, in exchange for all that love, Maria would share her stuffed animals. Chispa loves to curl up on Maria's stuffed dog.
Stuffed dog is usually at Maria level and crawling Maria can easily patrol everything at her level.
She doesn't allow Chispa to remain sleeping on any of her stuffed animals. Recently she's started hugging all of them so maybe she's developing an attachment of her own and doesn't want to share with Chispa.
We all know how persistant cats can be about something though and Chispa usually finds her way back. Poor kitty, where's the love?
