When we were up in Maine for Memorial Day Gwendolyn, Julia and Bella came over to play in Maria's cardboard house and they had a great time peeking in the windows at each other.
We went to the Memorial Day parade in Damariscotta and saw the marching band from my high school, did we always have a marching band? Maria gave Paul a "hat" to keep the sun off of his head and she had to sit on the curb with all of the other kids. While waiting for the parade to start Maria actually asked to go home because she was so tired and ready to nap. While she was mildly entertained with the parade in general she almost jumped out of my arms when the horses came down the street. She said "Hola!" and "Adios!" to each horse in turn waving as they walked by.
