The dance recital was exactly what you would expect. One way that it was different was that in between performances Maria sat with her class to watch the show instead of with us-on our laps. Estella watched most of it from Heidi and Papa's laps but when her legs needed a stretch she got down to do her own dance in the aisle.
After the performance we went to 5 Guys Burgers and the for frozen yogurt next door. It was an exhausting evening, a late night, lots of prep work. Thankfully Babcia and Dzadek stayed the night and took the girls to school the next morning so they got some extra rest.
