It's so nice to break out some of the outdoor toys that we haven't used much of during the winter. Stella hooked the broom up to her bike to clean the driveway.

Those first pictures were in April. Now here we are in May enjoying a couple of really sunny, 80 degree days, including Mother's Day. In fact I wanted to work on the garden for Mother's Day. The girls helped to dig the sod from the area that would be the raised bed. We also went to the barn for riding lessons and out for ice cream.
When Stella got tired of playing in the dirt she used Maria's catapult to shoot balls from my car. When she ran out she called Maria who picked them all up for her - good big sister. That meant I was able to weed the front garden and plant dahlia bulbs and a few annuals.
Maria lost her first tooth!
