Kindergarten Writer's Picnic

Today was the end of the year Kindergarten Writer's Picnic where students displayed the nonfiction stories they have been writing.  Maria's books were about riding horses, Stella saying something inappropriate to her and playing on the playground.

After reading the books and the About the Author pages we went outside and had a picnic.

Before we left I got some pictures of the wishing flags that the kindergarteners had made for their artist in residence program earlier this year.  Although our Bella did not write this flag it's perfect for her.  We don't know where Maria's is but we think we'll find it one day.
