Estella's fourth birthday

Estella birthday is the last in the long July month of birthdays.  We are getting weary of birthdays by now but still ready for one last hurrah!  Both Maria and Estella's birthdays were celebrated on their actual birthdays this year.

We invited five pairs of big and little sibling pairs over to our house for a birthday loosely themed a superhero birthday.  Babcia put a lot of work in making superhero capes and cuffs for the kids.

We played a couple of games out in the driveway, balloon toss and pass the present.

Stella requested pancakes for lunch and we got a little silly with the pancake materials.

Stella's birthday cake was an ice cream cake made with chocolate and vanilla ice cream with a center of cookies coated with magic shell.  Yummy but hard to cut and then a melty mess!

The sun came out near the end of the party and the kids played in the pool and the sprinklers.

The after party included watching the American Girl Doll movie "McKenna".
