We had a birthday extravaganza in Jefferson for all of the July birthdays. Everyone pitched in to make a great lunch and great cakes. Maria picked kale out of the garden and Estella helped to roll the dough for naan on the grill.
Diane helped to fix Maria's hair and the two of them decorated Estella's cake together. Estella requested "chocolate cake with pie on top".
Dad picked Mom a bouquet of wildflowers for her birthday and Kim got creative with flowers in her wrapping.
It was the perfect afternoon to eat lunch on the deck.
Stella went through a grumpy spell but Maria's present lifted her spirits.
